Announcing the 8th Annual Poetry Gabriola Festival
February 16 - 19, 2012
Poetry Gabriola had an amazing year in 2011 with the creation of the Poetry Yurt at the Commons and a full summer program of  performance labs.

Aspiring poets, spoken word artists, keen audience, supporters of the arts!!!  We want you! 

Poetry Gabriola is hosting a monthly Poetry Open Mic. 

Our inaugural show is November 24th, 2011, then every third Thursday starting January 2012,  at the Roxy, on Gabriola Island.

Festival Update

Unfortunately we have had to cancel our 10 Art Lab in the Summer Art Lab Series, Source-Based Image Lab with Hilary Peach. Family health issues are preventing Hilary from being on the island for this session. We hope to re-schedule this lab at another time in the future.

This is just a quick reminder that if you want to see Mae Moore tonight at the Roxy you might want to head on down to Artworks sooner rather than later. I just came from buying our tickets there and there were TEN LEFT for the show tonight! Hope to see you there!
