8th Annual Member's Reading and General Meeting
The Poetry Gabriola Society will hold its 8th Annual Members' Reading and General Meeting on Tuesday, September 4th at 6:30pm at The Old Crow Cafe, Folklife Village, on Gabriola Island.
Readings will commence at 6:30pm, and will feature poems and songs by Naomi Beth Wakan, Portia Boehm, Victor Anthony, Hilary Peach, Lisa Webster-Gibson, and Janet Vickers.
The AGM is open to the public and free of charge. All members in good standing are eligible to vote. The agenda will include the presentation of 2011 Financial Statements, the election of the Board of Directors, and a discussion of plans for the upcoming year.
There will be an Open Mic opportunity for members who wish to read, following the AGM
